Our stay at Miyabi was wonderful! The clean air, the peace and quiet, and Kazuko and Kevin were superb hosts! We even tried out the BBQ out in back of the house on the new patio, it was fantastic. We look forward to visiting again soon!

Tama-chan

Nomi, Ishikawa, Japan

Even though we live in Kanazawa, staying at the Miyabi Guesthouse made us feel as if we had traveled to a completely different part of Japan. Hakusan provided such a refreshing change from Kanazawa, offering a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, and the opportunity to get out into nature. One of the highlights of our stay was the Sushi and Sake pairing dinner hosted by Kazuko and Kevin. It was an incredibly enjoyable experience that added a unique touch to our visit.

Taku Motooka

Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Japan

I had a wonderful time during my stay at Miyabi Guesthouse, which included a one-day tour of Hakusan and another day exploring Kanazawa with Kevin and Kazuko as my guides. The tour was fantastic, and I can’t recommend this guesthouse enough to anyone looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. The contrast between Kanazawa and Hakusan was striking. In Kanazawa, tourists were rushing around to check off every “must-see” attraction, while Hakusan offered the complete opposite—a serene retreat into the mountains. There, we spent more time observing wildlife (yes, really!) than watching crowds of people. Returning to the guesthouse after the day’s adventures was such a relaxing experience. The atmosphere was so calm and soothing that it truly felt like a special getaway—especially compared to my hectic week in Tokyo beforehand!
